About the R36 Max
The R36 Max is the square-screen member of the family: a 4-inch 1:1 IPS panel tailor-made for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Neo Geo Pocket and other systems that were never meant for widescreen. Under the shell it's the same Rockchip RK3326 as the rest of the R36 line, paired with a roomy 4000mAh battery.
If your nostalgia leans toward the handhelds of the '90s, that 1:1 screen shows them exactly as they were meant to look, with no stretching and no letterboxing.
