About the Powkiddy V10
The Powkiddy V10 is a budget vertical handheld built around the ageing Rockchip RK3326, a quad-core Cortex-A35 paired with a Mali-G31 GPU and 1GB of DDR3L RAM. Its 3.5-inch 480x320 IPS panel uses a 3:2 aspect ratio that suits Game Boy Advance almost exactly, and the tidy D-pad, decent buttons and 3000mAh battery make it a pleasant little machine for revisiting 8-bit and 16-bit classics.
Be realistic about the ceiling this chip imposes. The RK3326 comfortably handles everything up to and including PlayStation 1, with PSP, Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast being hit-and-miss rather than dependable. There is no built-in Wi-Fi and some manual configuration is expected, so it is best viewed as an affordable retro companion rather than an all-in-one emulation box.
