About the BattleXP G350
The BattleXP G350 is a very budget retro handheld built on the ageing Rockchip RK3326, the same silicon found in the R36S and similar sub-40 pound devices. It keeps a compact vertical shape with a 3.5in 640x480 screen, 1GB of RAM and a 3200mAh battery, and runs a Linux stock OS with the option to flash community firmware such as ArkOS. There is no built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, so file transfers and artwork scraping mean pulling the card or adding a USB adapter.
Realistically this is an 8-bit and 16-bit machine that stretches to PS1. NES, SNES, Mega Drive, Game Boy Advance, PC Engine and most PS1 titles run well, and it is best not pushed much further. Nintendo DS, N64, Dreamcast and PSP are hit and miss and should be treated as a bonus rather than a reason to buy. The G350 is not strictly an R36S clone, but it is the same class of RK3326 device, and reviewers generally rate its controls and casing above the R36S at the same price.
