About the Anbernic RG Rotate
The RG Rotate's trick is a swivelling screen: the square 3.5-inch panel sits on a custom metal hinge and slides round like a jackknife, revealing a D-pad, face buttons and function keys hidden underneath. Swivel it shut and the controls vanish, closed, there are no exposed buttons at all, just a slim, pocketable slab. Because the panel is square (720×720), it's a natural fit for 1:1 arcade and shmups as well as classic 4:3 systems like the Game Boy, NES and SNES, and you can rotate the display to suit.
The Unisoc T618 is plenty for Dreamcast, PSP, N64 and Saturn, making it one of the most creative, and genuinely charming, handhelds Anbernic has made. The trade-off for that slider design is a modest 2000mAh battery.
